Why did you choose the message you chose?  How is this message important? How did you come up with your design?

I chose the message, “Stop bullying, before it kills someone” because I wanted to create a poster that got people’s attention right away.  I put a DO NOT sign over the hand to symbolize, “stop bullying”.  I also used an image of a girl who committ suicide.  I wanted to display on my poster about the reality of bullying and what it can do to people, which I have shown is death.  I wanted people to notice my poster because I am telling the public that we need to stop bullying because it hurts people many ways. This message is important because I want to let people know that kids are seriously affected by bullying so much, that many of them committ suicide to stop the suffering.  I want to show the consequences of what bullying can do to a victim who has suffered so much of it.  In the poster, I used very dark colours to represent bullying.  I used black to represent suffering and red to symbolize blood and anger.  I came up with this whole idea of this poster when I heard about a story where a girl committ suicide because she was always bullied at school.  She couldn’t handle it anymore, so she killed herself.  I used this story to create my poster and let the public know this happens and that we as human beings can take a step into preventing this type of situation from happening.
